As a versatile, all-round lens, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 S offers a focal length from moderate wide-angle to telephoto with a good f/2.8 aperture. This lens works nicely for landscapes, portraits and documentary photography. The lens is quite compact in size and also makes an excellent travel lens. The stepping motor is fast and quiet for a contrasty image. Chromatic aberrations and other optical errors are not a problem with this lens.

The shortest focusing distance (19.1 cm) makes it easier to take close-ups.

Programmable Control Ring is, by default, set to adjust manual focus but can also be used to control aperture or exposure compensation.
