This filter is made of high quality optical glass with a nanocoating that prevents loss of detail.

Neutral density filters do not affect the colour of the image and 3.0 density offers a 10 aperture reduction in the light entering the lens.

By attaching a neutral density (ND) filter to your lens, you steadily reduce the amount of light that enters the lens.

The ND filter is useful when the contrast between highlights and shadows is too high to get a good quality exposure.

An ND filter can also allow for greater motion blur and the ability to see details in the image by allowing the use of a large aperture and/or slow shutter speed.

This filter has an added infrared protection coating that helps to eliminate infrared light passing through the lens and restore the natural colour.
