A new and highly durable Pro level base zoom has been introduced to support OM-1's new IP-54 rating. The lens' IP-53 rating withstands the harshest weather conditions and offers unprecedented reliability. The high quality draw and compact size have been retained.
14 lens elements in 9 groups produce a beautiful, vivid and precise drawing through the zoom range. The high-speed MSC focus motor has also been upgraded, offering ultra-quiet and fast autofocus for video and stills. The new lens also supports O-M1 the frame's blistering 50 frames per second.
