The PolarPro Mavic 2 Pro ND1000 is a robust grey filter from the Cinema Shutter collection Mavic 2 for helicopters. With a grayscale filter, you can reduce the amount of light entering the lens, bringing shutter speeds down to a reasonable level and preventing the video from being jerky and looking more cinematic. One aperture means a reduction of light by half. So, for example, the ”lightest” filter in this set (ND4) halves the light twice. So if the exposure time would normally be 1/400, the filter would make it 1/100 (1/400 divided by 2 is 1/200, and this divided by 2 is 1/100). So you can effectively get the shutter speed you want with filters, without sacrificing quality. Most often an ND filter is needed in sunny or semi cloudy weather, in which case ND8 or ND16 filters are used, there may also be a situation where heavier ND32 or ND64 filters are needed, these are also available from PolarPro.

The filters come with a case for storage.
