The Sigma 105mm F1.4 Art has been designed with absolute image quality in mind, resulting in a fast and powerful short telephoto lens that's perfect for potrait photographers. The F1.4 is 4 times more powerful than a 70-200 F2.8 zoom, for example, and allows for a whole different level of ISO and subject separation.

In the Art series, the lens is razor-sharp, and with FLD and SLD lenses, chromatic aberration is very minimal. The product is designed to be compatible with high-megapixel cells and is sure to perform excellently in the future. Like the lenses in Sigma's Sport series, this lens is splash and dust resistant and therefore allows for great images even in challenging conditions. The front glass of the lens is also coated with a dirt and liquid repellent, making it easy to clean.

The Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art lens comes with an Arca-Swiss compatible tripod mount. The lens is also compatible with Sigma USB-telakan to update the lens firmware and fine-tune its features.
