This Sony ECM-W3 2-Person Wireless Microphone System allows you to record two-person interviews and vlogs with your Multi Interface compatible Sony camera. The system features two clip-on transmitters with built-in microphones and a two-channel receiver with Multi Interface Shoe interface. The system supports recording of both analogue and digital audio signals, either mixed or as separate channels, for ultimate flexibility in post-production. The receiver is extremely compact and features integrated 3.5mm TRS and USB-C output connectors. Two switches on the side allow selection of separate or mixed channel recording and switching between analogue and digital output modes. A secure recording override protects against unexpected interruptions. An attenuator switch on the transmitters prevents clipping.

Bluetooth wireless communication

The units communicate with each other via Bluetooth 5.3 low energy LC3plus encoding up to 150m away. Bluetooth LC3plus coding ensures low power consumption and low latency while maintaining high sound quality.

Multi Interface Shoe

Use the receiver's integrated Multi Interface Shoe for cable-free connection to your compatible Sony camera. The camera body provides power to the receiver directly from the shoe. Sound is transmitted via a direct digital signal that eliminates noise and interference

Digital audio recording

Both transmitters feature digital MEMS microphones with a high signal-to-noise ratio to record clear audio with low noise. You can further eliminate distortion by using the built-in noise-cancelling and low-cut filters. The noise-cut filter uses digital signal processing to eliminate noise, while the low-cut filter reduces unwanted low-frequency noise such as wind, air conditioners and vibrations.

Battery life

Other features

LED indicators on the receiver and transmitters show the communication status and allow you to monitor the battery level. All components are designed to withstand moisture and dust for outdoor photography. Included furry windscreens reduce wind noise.
