Ideal for travel photography, the Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD is an advanced all-in-one zoom with a relatively wide head and medium telephoto aperture combined with a bright maximum aperture that is quite attractive. Designed for Sony's E bayonet cameras, the lens combines versatility and speed making it ideal for capturing architectural landscapes. The wide aperture range of f/2-2.8 means there's a bewildering amount of light available for a zoom. Fast and accurate autofocus, Tamron's VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor brings the best performance in its category, although there aren't many lenses in this category now.
The connector port works with Tamron's Lens Utility software to update firmware and customize lens functions.
