The Venus Optics Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D is an extremely wide and almost distortion-free ultra-wide angle with a good F2.8 aperture. The product is ideal for star, architecture and landscape photography. The optical construction with its special elements ensures a sharp and contrasty image with excellent edge-to-edge colours.

The construction of the lens is pleasant and of high quality. The manual focus is built to be very precise and you can focus from 18 centimetres to infinity. The lens hood is fixed and you don't get traditional filters with the product. However, Laowa offers a square filter holder for the glass at a reasonable price.
