The Venus Optics Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D is an extremely wide and almost distortion-free ultra-wide angle with a good F2.8 aperture. The product is ideal for star, architecture and landscape photography. The optical construction with its special elements ensures a sharp and contrasty image with excellent edge-to-edge colours. The lens has a pleasant and high-quality construction. The manual focus is built to be extremely precise and you can focus from 18 centimetres to infinity. The lens hood is fixed, and no traditional filters are available. However, Laowa offers a square filter holder for the glass at a reasonable price.
