The HC-X2E is a high-end video camera equipped with a 1.0-type sensor. It offers powerful support for event and other shooting applications. Its optical performance captures the subject reliably and offers the mobility that only a handheld camera with an integrated lens can provide.

Lens and zoom: The lens covers the range from 24.5mm wide angle to 490mm telephoto with 20x zoom. i.ZOOM achieves 24x zoom at 4K resolution and 32x zoom at FHD resolution.

Built-in grey filter: The grey filter is built directly into the lens and attenuates the amount of incoming light. The filter can be selected (clear, 1/4, 1/16 or 1/64) depending on the shooting environment

Recording: The HC-X2E supports a high bit rate of 200 Mb/s for 59.94p/50p video recording with HEVC codec. Super Slow-motion mode supports 10-bit recording at 120/100 frames per second in FHD and 2-60 frames per second in 4K (UHD) VFR.

4:2:2 10-bit internal recording: The HC-X2E records a 4:2:2 10-bit colour profile at up to LongGOP UHD 29.97p/25p (150 Mb/s) or FHD 59.94p/50p (100 Mb/s) for SD cards.

Simultaneous SDI/HDMI output: UHD 4:2:2 10-bit output via HDMI and FHD 4:2:2 10-bit output via SDI enable a wide range of applications.

Storage of two codecs: HC-X2E records images simultaneously in two different formats, such as Main (UHD/FHD) and Sub (FHD) etc. This provides an efficient workflow.

Full HD streaming: RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS-compatible HD streaming allows you to connect live and share broadcasts of concerts, sporting events and news to Facebook, YouTube, etc.
