This glove combines the challenges of Arctic cold with the seriousness of warming up. Like a sleeping bag for your hands, the Alta Over-Mitt can be slipped over any Vallerret glove, providing extra thermal protection and keeping your hands warm when you need it most. The glove was inspired by the Vallerret founders' days of dog sledding in the Arctic. It is specifically designed for photography in Arctic winter conditions.

• Top glove: designed to fit over all Vallerret gloves. *The gloves are sold separately.
• FlipTech range protectors: open the glove with the recycled weatherproof zipper, flip your thumb backwards to reveal your inner glove and access the dials. Flip Caps fingertips are held in place with magnets.
• High-performance materials in the shell: goatskin and DWR-laminated soft twill resists water and provides excellent wind protection, while the Nylon Taffeta lining allows the Over-mit to slip smoothly over your glove.
• Primaloft insulation: like a sleeping bag for your hand, a puffy layer of Polar tec fleece and 5 oz insulation combine to keep the cold out and the warm in.
• Strap: keep the glove snug and tight with the Nylon strap.
• Cuff over the cuff: the cuff over the jacket allows for easy entry and exit, keeping your wrists warm and the arctic weather at bay.
• Microfibre suede lens wipe: keeps your lens free from last-minute smudges.
• Additional features: the gloves have a carabiner clip and a glove harness.
