How to identify a dirty cell?

Take a picture of a bright, flat background (e.g. the sky) at a low aperture, such as f/11. If you see faint round dots, there is dirt or dust in the sensor. This is perfectly normal, and regular cleaning will keep your camera in good condition and your images flawless.
